What is MDD YRUU?
Mountain Desert District Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (MDD YRUU) is a district wide community of high school youth and adult allies in youth ministry. The Youth Adult Committee is the voice of YRUU.
The entire body of YRUU meets three times a year at district cons (conferences). Smaller YRUU bodies gather at district sponsored cluster events or trainings, local gatherings, at summer camp and in congregations.
YRUU comes alive any time a group of UU youth and adults gather in covenanted community.
YRUU increases a sense of belonging in the larger UU community and encourage spiritual growth and leadership.
