Greetings from the Mountain Desert District (MDD) of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations! The MDD is geographically the largest district of the Unitarian Universalist Association, encompassing Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and parts of Nebraska, Texas, and Idaho. We have 53 congregations, large and small, ready to welcome you, whatever your ethnicity, sexual preference or status, age, religious or spiritual beliefs, or any other facet of your individuality. Unitarian Universalists everywhere, as well as in the Mountain Desert District, are united by the values of love, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

Are you interested in making connections within the Mountain Desert District and Pacific Western Region? We’re looking for board members! We have immediate openings for Vice President and Treasurer, and would be happy to hear from anyone interested in an At Large board position. The Board is looking to fill these positions as soon as possible, and needs to have a full slate of officers to be voted on at the next Annual Assembly, tentatively scheduled to coincide with the PWR Regional Assembly February 12-14 in San Diego.

If you or someone you know may be interested, please contact Mary Nordhagen at for more information.

Come, join us to continue to stand on the side of love!
