A loan library of religious education resources is maintained in the district office in Denver. Many new and historically popular curriculum titles are available for congregations to review prior to purchase or use for a semester of instruction. MDD will send requested materials to distant congregations and ask that the congregation pay the return postage or shipping. A full list of resources available will be posted to this site by the end of the summer.
If there are titles you want the district to acquire please let us know and as financial resources are available we will purchase them.
A lending library for congregational leaders is also maintained at the district office in Denver. A wide range of titles from Unitarian Universalist authors on many topics of interest is available. Additionally, books on general church management and leadership by the Alban Institute, Augsburg Press, and other non-profit management publishers are available. General leadership, financial stewardship, church accounting, growth, and small group ministry are a few of the topics covered in this library.
If you want to preview a book prior to suggesting it to your board we are happy to mail you our copy for review. The district will pay postage or shipping to you anywhere in the district and asks that you pay to send the books back to the office.
If you have recommendations for this library we welcome your input.
