MDD District Assessments

The operations of Mountain Desert District are funded jointly by the member congregations and grants from the Unitarian Universalist Association and Midwestern Unitarian Universalist Conference. Information about the Annual Program Fund can be found here.

Occasionally, we receive grants to fund particular programs in the district. Most often it is the Unitarian Universalist Association Funding Program that provides this funding.

Every member congregation accepts responsibility for helping to fund the district budget by paying an annual per adult member assessment. Any changes to the annual assessment are approved by the Annual Delegates Assembly approximately 18 months prior to the change taking effect.

The 2009-10 Fiscal Year assessment is $24. This rate will not change for 2010-11.

The District fiscal year runs from July 1st through June 30th.
